Can I remove a background for free?
Yes. Remove the background from 1 image as a guest, then sign in for 1 extra credit. You can edit and download your result before buying credits. No payment details needed.
What can I do besides removing a background?
Refine cutout edges, swap backgrounds, adjust color and light, add shadows or blur, crop and resize, and add editable text or templates. You can also sign in and use credits to generate a new background or expand your image.
Should I subscribe or pay as I go?
Subscribe if you work on images regularly and want fresh credits each month. Choose pay as you go for occasional projects, with a one-time payment and no automatic renewal. Both paid options include batch editing and ZIP downloads.
How many credits does one image use?
Background removal, background generation, and expansion are separate AI actions with different credit costs. Check the estimate beside the action button before processing. The per-credit price above is the unit price of your credits, not one flat price for every image.
Can I remove backgrounds from multiple images at once?
Yes. Sign in with an active subscription or available purchased credits, then open Bulk Editing. Remove backgrounds, apply matching edits, and download your completed images in one ZIP. You need enough credits for the images you process.

Yes. Choose a transparent background and export as PNG or WebP. JPG fills transparent areas with white. Every plan includes these download formats and the single-image editor.
Do unused credits expire?
Each credit pack shows how long its credits stay valid. Subscription credits refresh each month; unused monthly credits don't roll over, including with yearly billing.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Open Billing in your account to manage your subscription and stop future renewals. Credit packs don't renew automatically.
Can I use Bgbye instead of remove.bg?
